Since last year I feel like I’ve been neglecting using my Rollei the most out of my cameras, despite how much I usually love how the photos turn out. I think it is mainly due to its size and weight and if I’m going to carry that amount of weight I usually prefer to take my 4×5 out. Though since I can’t really do spur of the moment photos with the 4×5 I’ve been trying to take the Rollei out a bit more this year. These are just some of the black and white shots I took while walking around during the 10th Anniversary of Night on Broadway and some from just walking around downtown.
Last summer when I went back to New Hampshire to shoot the Subaru Climb to the Clouds hill climb event, Cameron and I spent a few days prior to that shooting some other things first. We spent some time at his friend and race teammate, Alex’s, garage to shoot some photos and video for his business. My black and white film photos were shot with my Toyo VX125 on Fujifilm Acros 100 and the color photos were shot with my Rolleiflex 6008 on Kodak Portra 400. the This may become my new format of showing photos I’ve shot. I’m thinking to post a couple of my favorites to social media and then post full sets in the blog and then later rotate my favorites into the portfolio.
