Gear hunting in Osaka

I’ve been able to do a little searching around Osaka for deals on used camera gear while being back in Japan. However I didn’t find as much as I had in the past and what I did find for film gear seemed to be massively inflated in price currently. My goal originally was to find a Voigtlander R2 or R3, but the kits I saw were all above $2,000 now. I just don’t see myself paying that much for a camera that is only 35mm and not a Leica. At one of the shops I did find a very clean Nikon 180mm f/2.8 ED that I ended up picking up for around $300 and shooting these shots on my way home with to test. It’s definitely nice to add a longer lens to my 35mm gear and I could see trying to find a good 300 or 400mm one later as well.
